Faith Elementary
I was born and raised in Rowan County. I attended Rockwell Elementary, Erwin Middle, and East Rowan High School. While at East I was on the swim team for 3 years.
I graduated in 2009 from Pfeiffer University with a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education.
I've taught 5th grade for the past 6 years at Faith and I am now beginning a new adventure teaching 3rd grade. I am excited to start this new journey!
In July 2010, my husband, Aaron, and I were married on Ocracoke Island of the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We have been vacationing there since 2005 and it is a place that is near and dear to our hearts. We still go every year!
On February 13, 2014 we welcomed our first son, Graham. He is such a fun little boy who loves tractors, trucks, sandboxes, and water! He definitely keeps us on our toes as he is very busy, but we wouldn't have it any other way.
In March of 2011, we brought home our "first born," Hattie. She is a dark red Golden Retriever and she loves to be outside and swim in the pond behind our house. Graham rocked her world when he joined our family, but she is now starting to give him some attention and play with him. She gets a hug from him each night before bed.
I love being at the beach whenever possible and also being outside with my family. I love to read in my spare time and I am currently in a book club with friends!
